Skiing and cross-country skiing at the Resia Pass
Ready, steady, go! Your winter holiday in the Venosta Valley starts just outside our Garni and Residence: in just 20 minutes, a shuttle service will take you free of charge to the skiing complexes of Belpiano, Malga di S. Valentino and Nauders. Three ways to have fun: skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding. And you can do all this across two different countries, with 120 km of tracks, 90 km of cross-country rings with guaranteed snow, and 24 ski-lifts.
Skiing at the Resia Pass
Large family-friendly ski tracks, guaranteed snow until spring, and much more. Skiing at the Resia Pass is nothing short of wonderful!
The skiing area of the Resia Pass is made of three skiing complexes:
- Belpiano:
six ski lifts and 40 km of tracks. Belpiano is renowned for being a family-friendly skiing complex bathed by the sun
- Malga di S. Valentino:
seven ski lifts and 20 km of tracks. This complex starts in the town centre, and offers the longest descent of the Venosta Valley
- Nauders:
thirteen ski lifts and 75 km of tracks. This complex is in Austria, but can be reached by car in only 10 minutes.
Both inside our Garni and at the station at the bottom of the Belpiano cable car, you will find a ski and snowboard hiring service.
Cross-country skiing at the Resia Pass
Lovers of Nordic style cross-country skiing will be very pleased! You will find up to 45 km of cross-country rings at Lake Resia and Lake S. Valentino alla Muta, in the renowned Three Nation Track, which goes on for 15 km, with a 45 m altitude drop.
In only 5 minutes on foot, you will reach the Lake Resia ring. Or you may want to travel 9 km to Nauders (Austria), or 8 km to S. Valentino?
In addition, the closest cross-country skiing complex is only 20 km away, in Slinga di Malles.
Other winter activities We recommend: ice skating on the frozen Lake Resia, and ice sailing!
And of course excursions around the Venosta Valley, in a romantic and wild environment, with or without snow shoes.
